Commercial Model

With a flexible commercial model, we can execute projects through Full Time Equivalent (FTE) service agreements but also through a variety of different approaches such as fee per success, fee per project or through a shared risk approach. Flexibility and adaptability to our clients´ demands is one of our key assets.

Just as no chemical project is the same, we recognize that our clients may have different needs in terms of commercial agreements. Our long experience dealing with different sectors has taught us that adaptability to our client business model and contract requirements is highly appreciated.
After the signature of a CDA, a free pre-assesment of the project is always carried out. We only accept those projects where we perceive a realistic probability of success.

A variety of commercial engagements is possible, depending on the nature of the project:

  • FTE. This is one of the most usual commercial engagements where agreed resources are allocated to a project for an agreed period of time. All intellectual property rights or know-how derived from the project belong to the client upon signing the contract. Period.
  • Fee per Project. In this case Enantia submits a detailed proposal to the client after having performed a complete pre-study of the project and identifying all the necessary stages and deliverables. The client will only honour the agreed fee upon execution of the different stages of the project. As with an FTE agreement, the IP generated will belong to the client.
  • Fee per Success. Similar to the previous one, the client will have to honour the agreed fee only if the objective is successfuly acomplished. If the objective / deliverables are not achieved the client has no further obligation with Enantia.
  • Partnership. This is a risk sharing approach where both the client and Enantia put their own resources to accomplish the project. In case of success, both parties share the return of the investment. IP is negociated between the parties as part of the deal.
  • Technology licensing. Enantia can license its patented technology under exclusivity or non-exclusivity rights to its licensee. The commercial terms are always agreed on a case by case basis.
