Enantia has grown to a team of 40 qualified employees with industrial and postdoctoral experience, half of whom hold a PhD in chemistry. This highly qualified, committed, and enthusiastic group of people is what makes the difference. Furthermore, Enantia is managed by a team with a proven and long experience in API development and manufacturing.

Mr. Llorenç Rafecas, Chief Executive Officer

Mr Llorenç Rafecas is a founding partner and the chief executive officer of ENANTIA S.L. Llorenç holds a graduate degree in organic chemistry and has extensive experience in both theoretical and applied chemistry. Before joining the company, Llorenç worked for 24 years in a fine chemicals plant of a European pharmaceutical company in a variety of roles, from chief of R+D and production departments to technical manager.
 

Dr. Joan Feixas, Sales & Financial Director

Joan holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and an MBA. He worked for 7 years at Almirall first as Head of Chemical Development Lab. and, later on, as Medicinal Chemistry Team Leader. He then joined Aspentech where he spent 6 years doing Bus. Dev. in the EMEA region serving the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals market. Joan's business and technical experience is instrumental in strengthening the company position and implementing its strategy.
 

Dr. Alex Comely, Scientific Coordinator

Alex is English and holds a PhD in organic/organometallic chemistry from Imperial College, London. After carrying out two years of postdoctoral research with Professor Feringa in Groningen, Holland, he joined Enantia when it was founded.
 

Dr. Mireia Pastó, Scientific Coordinator

Mireia holds a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Barcelona and a postdoc from the Max Planck Institute (Germany) under the direction of Professor Reetz. Before joining the company, she worked for 4 years at the University of Barcelona as associate teacher. Her experience in synthetic organic chemistry and asymmetric catalysis brings a wealth of experience to the position of scientific coordinator.
 

Dr. Montserrat Alcón, Analysis and Quality Assurance Manager

Montserrat is responsible for ENANTIA's quality assurance, safety, environmental health and analytical chromatography. She holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and a postgraduate diploma in Laboratories Quality Assurance. She has a solid experience in organic chemistry, in HPLC and GC analytical techniques, and in quality assurance.
