Dr. Joan Feixas
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Feixas holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He worked at Almirall first as Head of Chemical Development Lab, and later on, as Medicinal Chemistry Team Leader. He then joined Aspentech where he did Business Development in the EMEA region. Dr. Feixas' business and technical experience is instrumental in strengthening the company position and implementing its strategy.

Mr. Llorenç Rafecas

Mr. Llorenç Rafecas is a founding partner of Enantia and currently its Technical Director. He holds a graduate degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and has extensive experience in both theoretical and applied chemistry. Before joining the company, Mr. Rafecas worked for 24 years in a fine chemicals plant of a European pharmaceutical company in a variety of roles, from chief of R&D and production departments to technical manager.

Dr. Rosa Maria Moreno
Head of Operations

Dr. Moreno holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and joined Enantia at 2006 as a Project Manager. Her deep technical knowledge combined with her dedication and organisation skills, led her to be appointed as Operations Manager in September 2016.

Dr. Montserrat Alcón
Head of Chromatography and QHSE 

Dr. Alcón holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and postgraduate diploma in Laboratories Quality Assurance from the University of Barcelona. She joined Enantia when it was founded as Chromatography Manager and Quality Assurance, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager (QHSA). She has an extensive expertise in development of chromatographic methods (HPLC and CG) to identify, separate and quantify both chiral and achiral organic products.

Dr. Mireia Pastó
Head of Chemical R&D 

Dr. Pastó holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and a postdoc from the Max Planck Institute (Germany) under the direction of Professor Reetz. Before joining the company, she worked for four years at the University of Barcelona as an associate teacher. Her experience in synthetic organic chemistry and asymmetric catalysis brings a wealth of experience to the position of Scientific Coordinator in Enantia.

Dr. Marina Virgili
Head of Medicinal Chemistry

Dr. Virgili holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona. Since 1996, she has been working in R&D in the pharma industry combining the areas of process and medicinal chemistry, where she has held team leading positions. Dr. Virgili joined Enantia in 2012 as the Scientific Coordinator of the Medicinal Chemistry department, where she brings her expertise in rational drug design and synthesis of small molecules.

Dr. Nicolas Tesson
Head of Solid State R&D

Dr. Tesson is Enantia's expert in cocrystallisation and solid form screening. He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Paris-Sud University. After a postdoc in the University of Barcelona he joined Enantia as project manager in 2004. After several training events in the solid state field in USA, France and Netherlands, he became the Scientific Coordinator of Solid Forms in 2007, where he brings his expertise in the field of process and pharma cocrystals.

Dr. Dan Byrom
Account Manager

Dr. Byrom undertook his PhD in Organic Chemistry at IRB Barcelona. Before this, he studied a Master of Research in Green Chemistry at Imperial College London after having completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the Newcastle University. His strong technical background combined with his problem-solving skills and communication abilites led him to take up the role as Enantia's Account Manager in early 2017.

Dr. Laura Grau
Account Manager

Dr. Grau holds a PhD in Experimental and Industrial Organic Chemistry and a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona. She worked as a Medicinal Chemist in Esteve, before joining Enantia at the start of 2018 as Account Manager. Her knowledge in both Organic synthesis as well as Pharmaceutical Development is invaluable to understand and discuss a wide range of customers' technical challenges.
